Districts 10-12 compete in this audition. Auditions are after school and students provide their own transportation. Winners are eligible to audition for All-State.

TJ Orchestra Fall Concert

This event is mandatory for all orchestra members. If there is an unsolvable conflict, talk to Ms. Bailey. Dinner (if ordered) will be served at 5 PM Call time is at 6 PM. TJ Orchestra uniform is required (and will be checked!).

Students in District 11 compete in this audition. Note that this is a teacher workday and students must provide their own transportation. Audition music and info here. (Time TBD)

For SRO winners. Event begins Thursday evening. Students provide their own transportation each day. Concert dress is formal black - NOT TJ concert shirts!

Viennese Ball

This event is mandatory for all orchestra members. If there is an unsolvable conflict, talk to Ms. Bailey. Orchestra-sponsored dance. Set-up begins at 4:00 PM, the waltz lesson is at 7:00 PM, and the ball proper is from 7:30 to 10:00 PM. Please wear fancy clothes– not the TJ concert uniform.
